VINCENT DALLAS - Tämä On Suomelle C-34

Vincent Dallas is one of the best things that happened to the noise underground in recent years, plain and simple. Passionate no frills approach harsh noise often reaching mesmerizing levels of intensity, always done with visionary talent, enthusiasm and love by a great guy. These recordings are fantastic, it's all I can say about them. They're possibly my favorite from Dries, and i've played these tracks over and over since he sent me the master.

''There was an idea, a purpose to forget everything and make sound in all its forms. I was feeling excited after the trip in Finland, my head was full of ideas...good and bad...I didn't care...I did what I thought I had to do. I rented a rehearsal room here in town, made a banner with an old blanket and duck tape that I was satisfied with... Taking apart a drum and sticking contact mics on it, glass and screws, my army of 5 pedals, metal junk... Recorded all evening...there was some blood, alcohol and a huge feeling of freedom like I had experienced in Finland...That's why I dedicated these recordings to the land of the moose.''
